Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a well-respected local authority based in Greater Manchester, providing good transport links.
Our client is looking for somebody who possess commercial awareness and has a "can do" attitude. Their ideal candidate will be skilled at drafting legal documentation, providing clear advice and carrying out legal research.
The Commercial Contracts candidate will be well-organised and adaptable supporting stakeholders by providing specialist and proactive legal advice and assistance across a range of areas arising within the post holder's area of responsibility, including;
- EU public procurement rules and applications
- Contracting and procurement processes
- Employment law
- Data Protection and Freedom of Information
- State Aid
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Contract management and dispute resolution
- Licencing and public protection
- Community partnerships and business models
- Local government and law procedures
The successful candidate for the Commercial Lawyer role will be able to start straight away, joining a friendly team for a period of 6 months.
