We have a great opportunity for a Contracts Lawyer to join a local authority based in Central London. The Contracts Lawyer will be joining their team on an initially locum basis, 3 months, but with potential to stay with them longer.

The Contracts Lawyer will be dealing with Commercial Contracts matters, such as drafting terms and conditions, framework contracts and data sharing agreements. They will also handle procurement. Prior experience of working in a local authority is highly beneficial, but our client will happily consider those from other backgrounds, so long as they have relevant skills and knowledge.

The Council offer flexible working arrangements, such as working 1 day a week from home, and are situated right-by public transport links, as well as a variety of coffee shops and restaurants.

The Contracts Lawyer should be a qualified solicitor, or equivalent, and will possess sound knowledge of commercial contracts and procurement.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Zanub Najmi in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
