We are currently recruiting for a Senior Contracts Solicitor to join a local authority based in East Anglia.

This is predicted to be a 3 month assignment to cover the back end of a maternity leave, with scope to possibly increase this depending on workloads. The role is mainly covering commercial contracts work in relation to academy conversions due to a backlog of work in this particular area.

The successful candidate must have previous experience with handling academies work, must be experienced to pick up allocated work quickly and start with new procurement projects. You will also be required to give on hand advice in relation to day to day contract queries and governance related matters. Candidates must be able to use IKEN case management system.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
