A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Lawyer to work with a fantastic local authority based in the South East for a period of 3 months initially and the view to extend thereafter.
The local authority are offering fully remote working and both full and part time candidates will be considered.
The successful Contract Lawyer will be joining a warm and friendly team with an excellent manager. You will be required to work autonomously on a range of complex and routine commercial contract matters and will be able to progress matters quickly.
Our client is seeking someone who has experience of both commercial contracts and procurement law and it would be highly beneficial to have company law experience due to a number of wholly owned companies the council have.
The successful client will be able to provide a range of public sector clients with a high quality and professional legal service regarding to contracts, procurement, and company law.
Daily tasks for the Commercial Contract Lawyer would include;
- Routine and complex contract and procurement matters
- Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects relating to legal projects
- Advising and negotiating Contractual agreements
- Reviewing and managing all current contracts to comply with GDPR
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial contract lawyer to partake in some really interesting project work.
Our client is happy to consider private practice and public sector experience. Those candidates on short notice are preferable but happy to consider those on longer notice periods.
