A Midlands based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join them on a part-time, locum basis for a minimum period of 3 months.

Our client is anticipating needing a locum Contracts Lawyer to assist their Legal Services team for approximately 16 hours per week. These hours can be worked flexibily during the week rather than worked during set times/days.

Day to day responsibilities for the successful Contracts Lawyer may include;

  • Putting together contract documentation, including JCT, MTC, works contracts, etc.
  • Advising on/drafting funding agreements and memorandums of understanding
  • Drafting variations to contracts and service level agreements
  • Advising on various contract issues, including framework agreements, data protection, terms and conditions

This role will be to start ASAP and the successful Contracts Lawyer will be able to complete this role on a completely remote basis.
