Full Time or Part Time

A highly reputable Local Authority in the East Midlands is seeking a Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their friendly team for an initial 3 Month period with the view for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with experience in Contracts to add more variation to their weekly caseload joining a small and supportive team on a full or part time basis.

  • The Contracts Lawyer would ideally have the following characteristics;
  • Routine and complex contract and procurement matters
  • Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects relating to legal projects
  • Advising and negotiating Contractual agreements
  • Reviewing and managing all current contracts to comply with GDPR

Local authority experience is preferable due to the urgent nature of the role however our client is willing to consider contracts and lawyers from other backgrounds with transferable skills.
