Contract - Full-time

Contracts lawyer required to join a top ranking university in London for a minimum of 3 months. My client is looking for a contracts lawyer who is able to pick up contracts mid negotiation. The right candidate will have experience in negotiating on behalf of a UK university or similar environment. The successful contracts lawyer will be efficient and pragmatic, and ready to take on a complex and sizeable portfolio with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities of a Contracts Lawyer

  • Progressing contracts mid negotiation
  • Processing contracts including NDAs, MTAs and Academic Collaboration Agreements
  • Picking up negotiations from another negotiator and seeing the matter to completion

Required skills and experience of the Contracts Lawyer

  • 2+ years of contract negotiation experience
  • Experience negotiating on behalf of a UK university or similar organisations
