We are looking for an experienced Contracts and Public Procurement locum to join a busy in-house team.

The successful candidate will be capable of managing their own caseload of procurement matters including frameworks, DPS and term contracts of varying complexity for one or more contracting authorities. The role will also involve contracts matters including MOUs, IPR and other commercial legal issues.

As a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, awareness of GDPR and the impacts on public contracts is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of compliance matters with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door within an accommodating local authority with the opportunity for 1 day working from home following an initial settling in period.

The contract is for an initial 3 month period, however, it is likely that this will be extended.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
