Our client is a public sector organisation based in Surrey who is looking to secure a Contracts Locum to join their well-established legal services team.
Our client is seeking an experienced paralegal or a qualified lawyer who can undertake some routine commercial contract work during a busy period within the team. Our client can offer a minimum of a 3 - 6 month contract depending on workloads.
The role has an attractive capacity for flexibility with respect to hours-per-week and they can consider those looking for either part time or full time and can work around candidates' needs.
As the Contracts Locum, you will be reviewing standard terms and conditions on contracts, ensuring that these meet with the organisation. You will also be handling your own matters which can include consultancy agreements, service contracts and other routine contract matters.
Due to the nature of the work, it would be well suited to those who have a minimum of 6 months experience of working within commercial contracts, whether this be a seat in a training contract, hands-on experience as a lawyer, or a paralegal handling their own caseload.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
