Contracts Lawyer required to join a public sector organisation based in Suffolk for an initial 3 months, with a view of extension thereafter.

Our client is looking for a Contracts Lawyer to provide a range of public sector and not for profit clients with a professional and innovative legal service predominantly regarding contracts, procurement and trading and corporate law and other areas of legal practice where necessary.

The successful Contracts Lawyer will be expected to carry a varied caseload with a large focus on contracts and procurement law. Some of your daily duties will include:

  • Negotiating with third parties
  • Advising and drafting procurement documents
  • Providing legal advice to local authority clients

Candidates who hold experience of all levels within this area of law will be considered for the role. As a Commercial Contracts Lawyer, you should have a recognised legal professional qualification and a comprehensive understanding of commercial law framework. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand and respond to the departments needs and be able to build and develop professional contacts and relationships.

This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys a variation of Contracts work. Our client is able to offer flexibility and home working for the successful candidate.
