Sellick Partnership are working alongside an award-winning advisory firm to recruit a Senior Corporate Finance Manager to join their successful and rapidly expanding team. The Senior Corporate Finance Manager will provide proactive advice to businesses looking to raise growth and development capital, refinance, acquire or sell between £10m to £100m turnovers.
The successful individual will deliver clear and creative transaction-related advice, predominantly to owner managed firms embracing a number of advisory aspects, to assist their achieving of tangible results. Candidates with a broad experience of transactions from the buy and sell side plus an attitude that mirrors the firms core values, for example clarity of thinking, a straight forward approach and a collaborative and energetic outlook in dealing with clients and ultimately giving commercial and trusted advice.
Providing expert advice and guidance to clients
Producing business plans, information memorandums and business valuations
Carrying out detailed research to identify potential buyers
Preparing detailed financial models
Providing advice on capital structure
Helping to market businesses for sale
Project leading transactions
Providing instructions to other colleagues and professionals, such as lawyers
Undertaking company due diligence
Ensuring all the regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered
The successful individual will be required to have;
A strong track record in Corporate Finance, ideally gained in accountancy practice or a Corporate Finance boutique, managing transactions and people
Private Equity (PE) or Debt Advisory experience advantageous
Professional qualification - ACA/equivalent, perhaps with specialist Corporate Finance accreditation(s)
Outstanding relationship building, communication, negotiation and client service skills
Excellent project management skills
Robust financial modelling and numerical skills - IT skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
A high standard of commercial and economic awareness
