Sellick Partnership has been assigned to recruit a permanent Corporate Tax Senior for a very successful and instantly recognisable business based in Manchester. The business has outperformed their competitors over the past few years and will continue to do so by driving their strategic plan, delivering further improvements and changes that will make a real impact on the whole business.
Reporting into the Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the corporation tax reporting and compliance for the business and its entity companies to ensure all reporting and regulatory deadlines are met and also be involved in or manage adhoc tax projects.
You will be expected to manage your own workloads, remain technically up to date and assist in the management and development of two assistant trainees. You will also be expected to help identify, develop and implement process changes in respect of the corporation tax accounting and compliance operations.
The successful applicant will have an accounting (ACA or ACCA) or tax (CTA) qualification either making your first move from practice or experience working in a similar role in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
You will have strong technical corporate tax skills with up to date knowledge of reporting standards and tax legislation coupled ideally with experience of implementing / developing process improvements.
You will have excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical matters to non-technical partners and be able to engage with colleagues up to exec level.
