Are you a Court of Protection Lawyer looking for the opportunity to get into working within local government?
Our clients at a London Borough Council are looking for a locum Court of Protection Lawyer to begin as soon as possible on an on-going basis, with the potential of a long-term assignment. This role is completely remote working, and is paying a competitive £35 - £45 per hour, umbrella company rate.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Court of Protection matters
- Running a caseload
- Advising and assisting client departments
- Making relevant applications
- Drafting documents, letters and instructions
- Instructing counsel
- Interesting and varied workload within a diverse borough
- Longer-term assignment
- Fully remote working
- Competitive rate
- Training provided
This is a great opportunity for somebody to get their foot in the door of local government and join a friendly team who are happy to train-up the successful Court of Protection Lawyer in Mental Health, Judicial Review, Ordinary Residence and Deprivation of Liberty matters. It would be suited to someone living anywhere in the UK due to its fully-remote working pattern.
