An opportunity has arisen at a highly regarded legal 500 and top 45 National Firm to join their specialist Court of Protection team at offices in Manchester or Liverpool.

Sitting within the wider Wills, Trusts and Estates, our client has a specialist Court of Protection team which manages Deputyships and services the teams SLAs with Local Authority clients. The team is headed by an experienced Panel Deputy with 20 years' experience in this area.

As a Court of Protection Solicitor you will be running your own caseload of these matters including Deputyships, applications for lifetime gifting/IHT planning, applications for statutory wills and expert reports for deputyship costs in litigation matters. You will also be playing a key role in helping drive the department forward.

The role will suit someone around the 4 plus PQE level (albeit our client will consider those outside this bracket with the relevant experience) who has a keen interest and strong experience in Court of Protection work. STEP or SfE membership is desirable but not required.
