Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Team Leader to join a reputable company based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme on a full time, permanent basis. The role will involve leading the accounts receivable/credit control team within the fast-paced finance department.

The duties of the Credit Control Team Leader include:

  • Performing activities for the provision of proper and timely collection of customer receivable balances
  • Performing analysis on credit applications and reports to establish credit terms
  • Responding to customer hold related inquiries from internal departments
  • Establishing credit limits and terms for new UK and DE accounts
  • Reviewing past due accounts for submission to outside collections or legal
  • Submitting bad debt write-offs to the Company Accountant for approval
  • Leading a team of three accounts receivable team members

The ideal Credit Control Team Leader will have:

  • Proven credit control/collections experience
  • Experience of managing/supervising a small team
  • Strong system experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to speak a fluent European language (desired German), but not essential
