Credit Rating Actuary sought for a market-leading Insurer and Investment company.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Actuary to join a market-leading Insurer and Investment company as a Credit Rating Actuary.

This role can be based out of multiple offices and is offering hybrid working.

Responsibilities of the Credit Rating Actuary:

  • Developing credit rating for new asset classes as introduced to the Matching Adjustment portfolio
  • Prepare Credit Quality Assessments for illiquid assets
  • Regularly review credit ratings associated with the portfolio of unrated assets
  • Support the calibrations of the Internal Model stresses associated with illiquid assets

Key Experience of the Credit Rating Actuary:

  • Qualified Actuary
  • Understanding of Credit Rating methodologies
  • Strong communication skills
