Litigation Lawyer required to join an excellent local authority based in the centre of London for a 6 month period, with the possibility of extension thereafter.

As a Litigation Lawyer, you will be responsible for a varied caseload which will include;

  • Civil and Criminal litigation matters
  • Defending and issuing claims and appeals
  • Prosecution work
  • Adverse possession claims and encroachments
  • Advocating in Magistrates and Crown Court

Due to the broad nature of the role, this position would be ideally suited to a generalist litigator with 2 years PQE in local government, however our client is happy to consider all applicants, including those with a private practice background. It is desirable for applicants to have both Civil and Criminal litigation experience as the you will be expected to hold a large caseload. This local authority is happy to accommodate the successful candidate with a level of flexibility with working hours and working from home.
