Criminal Solicitor

Our client are a highly regarded Liverpool based firm, with a combined experience of over 150 years within criminal law. As a quality mark approved solicitors authorised to conduct Very High Cost Cases, they are trusted to assist individuals from politicians to medical professionals. Due to an increase in work, they are looking to hire two new Criminal Solicitors to join their experienced team.

About The Role

The successful Criminal Solicitor will be involved with the following duties:

  • Providing advice and representation in numerous settings including: Police Stations, DWP, Youth Court, Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal
  • Advising on all types of cases from minor offences including serious offences including murder, fraud, theft, robbery, assault, and sexual offences
  • Collaborating on cases alongside other solicitors within the department

About You

The ideal Criminal Solicitor candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Being a duty qualified solicitor is an essential for this role
  • Some experience of legal aid work is desirable
  • An ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team
  • A real passion for Criminal Law

In return, the firm are willing to offer a market leading salary of up to £45,000 and are willing to consider individuals wanting part time working or flexible hours. The firm are willing to consider individuals of all PQE levels as full training and development will be provided.
