Customer Development Manager
My Client, a Public Sector Organisation are currently recruiting for a Customer Development Manager on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
This exciting strategic role combines leading and championing the organisation's customer service vision, strategies and policies alongside their customer service change programme and the commissioning of customer services. The role has been purposely shaped to ensure strategic direction across the council and partners alongside delivery in practice to work with a resident focus and to help realise benefits.
Based in the Corporate and Commercial Services directorate, the Customer Development Manager proactively works with and influences a range of stakeholders within a complex operating environment. Working with officers, members and partners, the role provides a balance of support and challenge using excellent communication skills alongside established knowledge of local government, digital and customer services.
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
- Developing and implementing customer and digital strategies
- Overseeing channel shift to digital and self-serve and successfully delivering an improved customer experience and savings
- Leading a cross-cutting transformational programme
- Thriving in a complex operating environment
- Engaging successfully with a breadth of challenging stakeholders
- Budget management and monitoring (capital and revenue)
- Commissioning and monitoring service delivery
