Long term contract for an enthusiastic, committed legal professional to join a large London based Local Authority on a remote basis.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a qualified lawyer who has strong DPA experience, who is looking for a step up in their career or a new challenge.

The successful Data Protection Lawyer must have a technical skillset, ideally working within a Local Government setting and managerial experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing a team of paralegals and junior lawyers
- Training junior members of staff on internal procedures
- Dealing with Data Protection requests
- Dealing with live subject access requests and appeals
- Experience reviewing council policies in relation to GDPR
- Reviewing historical social services records

Ideally, my client is seeking somebody who has up to date knowledge and recent experience within this field. The successful candidate will be available on short notice to join a supportive, successful team.

If you believe you have the necessary skills and experience for this role, please apply now by sending an up to date CV to Leah Edgar at leah.edgar@sellickpartnership.co.uk. We will be reviewing CVs on a weekly basis and shortlisted candidates will be contacted before the closing date.
