Sellick Partnership has been assigned to recruit a permanent Partner Manager for a very successful and instantly recognisable financial services business based in Manchester City Centre.

The business has outperformed their competitors over the past few years and will continue to do so by driving their strategic plan, delivering further improvements and changes that will make a real impact on the collections service they provide.

Reporting into the Senior Partner Manager, you will head up 3 to 4 strategic partnerships with DCA's working alongside 3 other experiences Partner Managers to drive the business strategic business plan and performance related goals. You'll play a key role in linking the business to their partners and provide key insight into the future risks and opportunities within the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with debt collection partners to ensure appropriate services
  • Optimise the customer experience, focussing on effective risk management to ensure fair outcomes for customers.
  • Work with 1st and 2nd line assurance teams to understand the output of their independent conduct testing programme.
  • Support in the design and implementation of external partner management framework including the balanced scorecard.
  • Manage collections within budget for their respective servicing partners and underlying customer base
  • Negotiating commission rates with external Partner network

To get going quickly in this role, you'll need to have significant experience in the management of external DCA management. We will look for you to show us you have exceptional relationship, performance and compliance management experience and are fluid to encourage change to enhance the effectiveness of the process.

The person

The successful applicant will ideally have significant experience in both delivering performance and risk management programs at the same time as having exceptional relationship management experience with an ability to be firm with senior partners where required.

You will be resilient and comfortable challenging and engaging internal and external business partners. Therefore, you will have to show experience of building and managing meaningful relationships with lots of different stakeholders at all levels across numerous locations, as you will be challenging the status quo.

The role requires an ambitious and pragmatic individual who enjoys applying a strong focus on relationship management, performance based metrics and mitigating risk for the business with the ability to build robust controls.
