Our client is looking for a Paralegal to join a local authority based in the East of England. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a variation of work assisting the Litigation and Contracts team.

The ideal candidate will have previous debt recovery experience and be confident in assisting with and undertaking your own caseload. We are ideally looking for somebody who has If candidates have previous advocacy experience in this area, this would also be highly advantageous.

This position will be well suited to a Paralegal who enjoys fast-paced work, and likes to get really involved with cases and make a difference. It will involve the following responsibilities;

  • Issuing court proceedings
  • Applying for default judgement
  • Applying for a charging order

We feel that this role is ideal for an ambitious, self-starter who is looking to further their legal experience within a well-recognised, and highly experienced legal team.

The role is due to last three months initially, however there may be scope for this to extend.
