Sellick Partnership are seeking a Democratic Services Manager to join a Local Authority on an interim basis. The successful Democratic Services Manger will be able to work remotely, occasional office attendance may be required for meetings.

The successful Democratic Services Manager will take on a varied workload, and will be required to:

  • Provide strategic leadership
  • Develop, maintain and improve the Council's governance processes
  • Set the priorities, policy and direction of the teams
  • Provide advice and support to the Democratic Services
  • Implement and drive organisational changes
  • Manage employees

The ideal candidate for this unique position will be a proactive and tenacious individual. They will have previous management experience and have excellent knowledge of Democratic and Members' Services in the public sector.
