Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a Democratic Services Officer for a Local Authority based in the East Midlands.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong administrative background, is confident at taking minutes, and is a highly organised and professional individual. Candidates will ideally have obtained this professional experience in a legal environment.

The successful Democratic Services Officer will be required to:

  • Arrange Council and committee meetings
  • Prepare agendas for meetings
  • Provide admin support and assistance to Councillors
  • Review the Council's Constitution

This is a 3 months assignment and is to begin immediately on a full-time basis. There is scope for the role to continue beyond the initial 3 months, as well as a possibility of the role becoming permanent.
