Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a Democratic Services Officer to join a Local Authority based in Birmingham.
It is essential that applicants are NVQ Level 4 Business Administration qualified and have previous experience of working with elected members and officers at all levels within Local Authority.
The Democratic Services officer will join a fast paced office and will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of the Council's decisions. Duties may include:
- Attending meetings
- Advising on policy and procedures
- Working on high profile projects
- Supporting the successful delivery of the Law and Governance Business Plan
This is a full-time position to begin immediately for an initial period of 3 months, although we anticipate that the position will go on beyond that.
