Sellick Partnership are delighted to be recruiting for a Digital Programme Manager on behalf of a long standing client based in Cambridgeshire.

Our Client is looking for a Digital Programme Manager to join them ASAP on an 18 Month Contract and working 4 days per week. The role will mainly consist of remote working, however the successful candidate will be required to be on site 1-2 times a month

The role will aid in mobilising an ambitious programme, which is designed to deliver a fundamental transformation of everything the organisation does while also making a substantial contribution to the £7.5m savings requirements set out in its Medium Term Financial Strategy. This will be cultural as well as digital transformation, and therefore the requirement to understand OD and change is critical. The programme will require engagement across all teams and levels, and the team will need to guide and support the organisation to change rather than 'doing change to them'.

Role requirements

This role requires someone delivery focused which will be implementing;

  • End to end customer journey redesign across a range of line of business systems and the corporate customer portal/'CRM-lite',
  • Implementing end to end workflows
  • Managing integrations,
  • Managing process redesign.
  • Managing implementation of other digital enablers to be identified during the programme scoping including e.g. process automation platforms, new web platform.

Significant experience working in a local government environment is essential with a breadth of experience working across a range of council services and on business-focused ICT projects.

Other key competencies - the ability to 'translate' between non-technical stakeholders and technical requirements and vice versa to ensure business designs are informed by technical potential; ability to provide/commission appropriate technical assurance including robust test plans for designs/releases.
