Disrepair Lawyer vacancy with a London Council.

A London Borough Council are looking for a Disrepair Lawyer to join them on a 3-month locum contract with the view to extend. The Disrepair Lawyer will join the Housing Team and will:

  • Handle a caseload of matters relating to housing disrepair
  • Draft applications
  • Conduct advocacy
  • Handle disrepair counter-claims
  • Provide advice to stakeholders and members
  • Maintain and progress a caseload from initial instruction to completion

The Council are ideally looking for a Disrepair Lawyer with prior local authority experience, but all candidates with relevant skills and a strong knowledgebase in the area are encouraged to apply.

The Disrepair Lawyer will enjoy the benefits of flexible working patterns and a welcoming team. The team managers are great and will provide all necessary support and assistance.

The contract is expected to extend beyond the initial 3-months and will remain remote-working even once restrictions are lifted.
