Domestic Violence Support Worker

Until February 2021

Swadlincote, Derbyshire

37 hours pw (Monday to Friday)

We are recruiting for a non-for-profit organisation, who are looking for an experienced Domestic Violence Support Worker to join their team on temporary basis in Swadlincote

Duties of the Domestic Violence Support Worker role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working within a Women's Refuge, managing a caseload of clients that have encountered domestic violence
  • Signposting to access other services
  • Addressing safeguarding concerns
  • Assisting with access to education and employment opportunities
  • Completing support plans and risk assessments

Essential criteria of the Domestic Violence Support Worker include:

  • An Enhanced DBS
  • Experience supporting those that have faced Domestic Violence
  • UK Drivers' license and access to a vehicle
