Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit an E-commerce Finance Manager for a highly successful and instantly recognisable retail business based in Manchester City Centre. The business has been consistently growing over the past few years and they are now looking to continue to outperform their competitors by driving their strategic plans further. Due to the expansion of the business they are looking to develop a digital arm to offer further opportunity to their customers.
In this role you will support the E-commerce team in building this arm of the business, working closely with an experienced digital lead. You will assist them in developing the business case and implementing this on a wider scale.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a new venture for the business and be a part of a market leading investment. You will assess where improvements can be made in the strategy and present these to the senior management team. This non-finance liaison is at board level including communication with the CEO to explain and challenge the projections.
* Building financial models to present the wider business and provide insight to the viability of each stage
* You will assist with developing the overall strategy, analysing and assessing alongside the board to ensure the business moves in the right direction
* You will present information in an easier to understand manor for non-finance individuals in order for them to work within the budget constraints
* You will be responsible for profit and loss within this area of the business and you must be able to quickly resolve any issues that arise
You will come from an E-commerce background ideally from a retail business. You will have extensive experience creating financial models and business partnering with senior stakeholders. You should be resilient, and adaptable to the changing environment in order to progress with this role.
You do not have to be a qualified accountant however, an understanding of financial budgets and profitability is required.
