Sellick Partnership are currently looking for an Education and Adults Paralegal to join a West London Borough Council on an initially 3-month locum contract.
This great opportunity will see the Education and Adults Paralegal assisting the education team and the adults team, in matters such as:
- Special Education Needs (SEN)
- School exclusions and absences
- Adults safeguarding
- The mental health act
The team are welcoming and the Council offer flexible working arrangements. The offices are also conveniently located nearby to public transport links, making the offices easily reachable from the city, as well as from outside of London.
While this role involves both education and adults law, our client will happily take those with either education or adults experience, as they will train the candidate in the other aspect. As such, this is a great chance for an Education or Adults Paralegal to broaden their legal knowledge while working in a local authority.
Prior experience of having worked in a local authority is highly beneficial for this role, but our client will consider those from other backgrounds, so long as they have relevant and transferable skills.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for shortlisting. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
