Education Lawyer required to join a specialist law team within a large Local Authority, based in East Anglia - for at least three months, with an extension very likely and potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Whilst this is a perfect opportunity to join an established team and develop your skills, the successful candidate must have at least 1 year PQE in Education law work.

The particular focus is on special educational needs tribunal work and you will be involved in potentially high profile and ground-breaking matters and will advise clients on all aspects of education law issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of legal advice within the team, along with managing full caseload consisting of both conetentious and non-contentious matters. The Local Authority is very accessible and the client is happy to offer a good level of flexibility to the right candidate.

You will be expected to build strong relationships with internal and external partners. It would be desirable if the candidate has experience dealing with Pensions, although this is not essential.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Leah Edgar in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
