An exciting new opportunity has arisen in a south west London Borough Council for a locum education lawyer. This role will likely last for 1-year, and there is potential for this to be further extended.
The successful education lawyer will be expected to deal with education matters, such as:
- Tribunal appeals
- Defending Judicial Review claims
- Disability discrimination claims
- Schools support
The Council has a range of benefits for the education lawyer, including:
- Flexible working, 1 day working from home
- Free parking
- Small, friendly team
Experience of working in Local Authority is preferable but not essential, as our client will strongly consider education lawyers with relevant transferable skills.
Solicitor qualifications, or equivalent, are required for the education lawyer position.
