Great opportunity for an Employment and Education Lawyer!

We are delighted to be recruiting for an Employment and Education Lawyer to join a London Borough Council on a locum contract. This initial 3-month contract is expected to extend.

This role will sit in the Employment and Education Team, and will handle:

  • Unfair dismissals
  • Discrimination cases
  • Employment tribunals
  • Special Educational Needs
  • Providing advice to schools and academies

Experience in both employment and education law is not required for the role; our client has made it clear that while this would be ideal, they're happy with candidates who have just handled employment, as this will make up the majority of the role.

All backgrounds and levels of experience are encouraged to apply, our client is open to more junior candidates and those from non-local authority backgrounds.

The council are operating fully remotely for the foreseeable future, with a high-degree of remote working as restrictions lift.

Don't miss out on this role! The council are well-regarded and offer flexible working arrangements.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Mila Casaus in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
