We are looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a London Local Authority.

As an Employment Lawyer you will join a supportive team that deals with Employment, Education and Adults matters. You will be responsible for a caseload of complex Employment matters including providing advice to senior managers, staff and external Local Authority clients. There is the opportunity to undertake advocacy work if desired.

The successful candidate will ideally have local government experience, however those from a private sector experience will be considered. Employment experience is crucial, however any knowledge of Education would be a bonus.

The contract is for an initial period of 6 months, however it is likely that this will be extended.
