Locum Employment Lawyer is required to join a social enterprise firm on a locum basis for a period of 3 months initially and the view to extend. This social enterprise firm prides itself on being one of the market leaders to providing legal services to public sector bodies including that of key local authority clients within the region. The successful employment lawyer will be required to start at the beginning of January ideally.
You will be required to undertake a range of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters on behalf of three key local authority clients, including advice work in relation to schools and academies. You will need to undertake advocacy in employment tribunals and these may vary depending on where the case is listed. Our client is happy to accommodate some home working for this assignment due to travel involved on some weeks for such cases listed in tribunals.
You will have the option to work in one of their offices which include the East Midlands, Home Counties or East Anglia to best suit your location. Our client is happy to be flexible around candidate needs should this be due to working from home, working hours per week or condensed hours. Our client is happy to consider those from either a local government or private practice background.
