Employment Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in the East of England on either a locum or fixed term contract basis for a period of 3-6 months initially and the view to extend thereafter.
Our client is currently experiencing a high volume of matters coming through and as such requires a locum to assist their employment team through this time. You will be a confident employment solicitor who is able to undertake both contentious and non contentious matters. The work will be heavily advice related work but there will be the expectation to undertake tribunal matters as and when they arise.
The work is really varied and you would be providing advice not only for the local authority but for schools, academies and one off pieces of work also.
Our client is looking for someone to undertake the work remotely during lockdown but there will be an expectation to travel to the office a couple of days a week once lockdown is lifted but this can be discussed closer to the time.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
