Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an Employment Lawyer or Legal Advisor to join an in-house team for a private healthcare company.

The successful candidate for the Employment Lawyer post will be responsible for providing employment and privacy legal advice and assistance to the business as well as supporting on all employment tribunal litigation.

Your typical day:

  • Providing advice and support on all employment matters and employment litigation
  • Preparing cases and supporting documentation
  • Conducting advocacy and witness conferences
  • Produce case strategy documentation
  • Providing training on employment law to the people team
  • Working with the Head of Privacy to embed the privacy framework across the organisation

The ideal candidate for the Employment Lawyer role will be proactive, self-motivated and willing to use initiative. You must have a good level of employment law knowledge and experience in both contentious and non-contentious issues. Anyone with experience in financial services or privacy would be advantageous but not essential.
