My client is a leading Legal 500 multi service law firm with 2 offices in the South.
Due to recent success, the firm is now looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor (ideally 4/5 years PQE+) to join their St Albans office on a permanent basis.
The employment team, consisting of 8 lawyers, are highly ranked within the Legal 500. They act for both companies and individuals in relation to contract terms as well as contentious claims. The practice specialises in assisting clients from the employment agency, education, charity, non-profit and care sectors and GDPR advice is an area of growth.
The successful Employment Solicitor will have the following duties:
- Reporting directly to the firm's head of employment and working on the full spectrum of employment law matters - both contentious and non-contentious.
- You will be actively contributing to the employment team's business development work, for instance through attending external networking events and socials.
- Providing specialist employment law advice on a range of matters; contractual matters, redundancy and restructuring, disciplinary and grievance, discrimination and equal opportunities, employment policies
- Drafting, negotiating and interpreting contracts, agreements and policies and procedures.
- Tribunal proceedings
In return, my client is offering an attractive base salary, along with additional benefits and of course, the opportunity to work within a top tier ranked and dynamic employment team.
