Sellick Partnership are happy to be working with a large local authority in the Home Counties to secure a new Locum Employment Lawyer on a part-time basis to work in their legal services team.

If successful in applying for this new employment lawyer role, you will be working remotely from home. The role will pay £45-48 per hour and the contract will be for an initial 3 months with the possibility of being extended further. This role would be well suited to someone who is looking to fit this alongside another part time role or someone who is looking for a level of flexibility around other work commitments.

The successful applicant will ideally have defendant employment experience within a local authority or a public sector setting, as you will need to hit the ground running.

As an employment lawyer you will be undertaking both contentious and non-contentious work and your work will include, but is not limited to:

  • Tribunal claims (done remotely)
  • Discrimination cases
  • Unfair dismissals
  • TUPE matters
