Our client is a leading Legal 500 regional practice with several offices throughout Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

They are currently recruiting for a full time Employment Solicitor to join their Employment Business Unit based at their Northampton or their Milton Keynes offices. The successful candidate would be working alongside the Corporate Commercial teams, as well as managing existing clients & building on the client base already established in the area, via networking and business development.

The successful Employment Solicitor will manage their own caseload dealing with the following Employment Law matters;

  • Redundancy;

  • Tribunals;

  • Performance Management;
  • Discrimination;

  • Employment Contracts and Staff Handbooks;
  • Disciplinary and Dismissals;

  • Absence Management;

  • Restrictive Covenants;

  • Settlement Agreements;

  • TUPE.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills;

  • Excellent time management
  • Attention to detail
  • Practical advice skills
  • Commercial & methodical approach to work
  • Strong relationship skills
