We are working with an organisation in Chesterfield who are currently seeking an experienced Empty homes demo Operative to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Empty homes demo Operative will be required to provide a demolition service to void properties in the Chesterfield area.

Responsibilities of the Empty homes demo Operative include:

  • Undertake the demolition works to void properties including; existing kitchen removal, existing Bathroom removal, wallpaper stripping, clearance and collection of rubbish during and following void works
  • Disconnect and isolate water supplies
  • Removal of non-licensed asbestos material
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under limited supervision

Criteria of the Empty homes demo Operative:

  • Able to demonstrate awareness of issues associated with personal risk assessment, health and safety conditions on site and lone working
  • Possess a full valid driving license
  • Be willing to undertake any training required to carry out the job e.g. Legionella, lifting and manual handling, COSHH
