Sellick Partnership is currently seeking an Energy Lawyer to join the Global Energy and Utilities company based in either their West Midlands or East Midlands office on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer either from a public or private sector background and you will be joining a fantastic team which focuses on residential customers and small businesses providing energy solutions across the UK.

As the Energy Lawyer you will be;

  • Joining an experienced team of 4 lawyers which is part of a wider award-winning talented legal team of over 30 lawyers
  • Undertaking commercial legal matters supporting energy solutions for large industrial and commercial businesses
  • Commercial matters will include power purchase agreements, developing new customer products including tariffs and metering
  • Advising and negotiating on the supply and metering for large businesses including renewal of large contracts with leading UK commercial businesses

As the Energy Lawyer, you will have;

  • Strong commercial experience either within energy, utilities, or have worked in either private practice or public sector with a strong commercial acumen
  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive in the UK
  • Be able to work collaboratively across business units and work independently as required
