Estates Housing Officer
Permanent
Full Time and Part Time Hours available
£26,040.55 pro rata
Nottingham

Our client based in Nottingham is looking for an experienced Estates Housing Officer to provide a comprehensive frontline housing service to their tenants, leaseholders and other stakeholders involving the investigation and resolution of tenancy related requests, enquiries, complaints and disputes including ASB and breaches of tenancy conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the Estates Housing Officer include:

  • Undertaking pre-tenancy interviews and investigations
  • Inspect and take handover of newly developed propertied and relets units
  • Undertake Fixed and Assured Shorthold Resident home visits; recommending actions as required
  • Monitor and investigate non-compliance with tenancy agreements in accordance with the policy and procedure
  • Monitor maintenance of communal areas
  • Conduct neighbourhood appraisal visits; recommending and taking corrective actions
  • Respond to resident enquiries in accordance with agreed standards; reporting and resolving initial resident complaints

Essential criteria of the Estates Housing Officer include:

  • Previous experience as an Estates Housing Officer or in a similar role
  • Current knowledge and experience of social housing, welfare and legal issues
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle for business use
