Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly qualified lawyer or legal executive to join a supportive childcare legal team on a locum basis. This newly qualified childcare lawyer opportunity is to work with a highly regarded local authority for a 3 month period initially but has long term prospects.
The position will require someone to start in March and you will be undertaking work specifically relating to the pre-proceedings stage. You will handle your own caseload of childcare matters to include Public Law outline matters and discharge of care work.
This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who has undertaken a seat in either family or childcare. The client is happy to use this as a training opportunity for someone working within either private practice or local authority but must have a keen interest in the area of childcare law. The candidate must also be able to prioritise and be a quick learner who is confident in their own abilities.
Having worked with this client for the past six months and successfully placed 4 people into their team, it is a wonderful place to work and a great place to develop and kick start your career within a local authority and a supportive team that can offer flexibility for those with family and working from home arrangements.
