Our client is a leading law firm with a fantastic reputation within the North West. Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Family Solicitor to join their accredited Family team in the North West. Once embedded into the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing their own client base and running their own caseload, as well as working as a team on bigger cases.

About The Role

The successful Family Solicitor will undertake the following duties:

  • Handling a varied caseload of Family matters whilst working alongside other solicitors, partners and paralegals
  • Direct communication with clients and third-party professionals
  • Drafting legal documents and various court applications
  • Attending court including advocacy work
  • Using case management systems

About You

The ideal Family Solicitor will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Be a qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified with experience of handling own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Ideally, have Legal Aid experience
  • Exceptional client care skills, providing professional and competent legal advice in accordance with SRA code of conduct
  • Ability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets
