Finance Assistant

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a reputable, award winning company based in Crewe on a fixed term basis. The role will be covering maternity leave for 13 months.

The duties of the Finance Assistant will include:

  • Accounts administration, including purchase ledger and sales ledger duties and general office administration
  • Performing payroll duties, which includes filing CIS and payments of PAYE to HMRC
  • Monitoring the cash flow expenditure
  • Gathering and analysing data
  • Completing duties as requested by the Finance Manager
  • Undertaking research into pricing

The ideal Finance Assistant will have:

  • Proven experience of working within a similar role within a busy office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work on own initiative
  • Passion to learn and adapt to new things in the office
  • Ability to work under pressure with a positive outlook
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
