Finance Business Partner
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Location: Leeds (hybrid working)

This is a great commercial and value adding role where you are able to immerse yourself within the company and gain great exposure at a key time in their strategic plan. This is a senior and visible position working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to help set the strategic direction, provide robust commercial insight that will identify opportunities to maximise performance and drive initiatives for profitable growth
- Through focused analysis, this role establishes the underlying drivers of business performance and makes recommendations on critical planning assumptions, which have full engagement with business owners and finance business partners.
- Identify key trends and issues, co-ordinates analysis across the team in order to support senior management and Exec to make informed decisions that improve business performance.
- Provides value-adding analysis that highlights areas of both business weakness and opportunity, with focus on insight for action.
- Provide appropriate challenge and influence to stakeholders to ensure they make well informed decisions that improve business performance.
- Build strong relationships & demonstrate your credibility when dealing with various internal business partners across all levels in finance and the executive teams.
The successful applicant will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified coming from a similar commercial finance role and being able to demonstrate being an effective business partner, decision maker, having commercial awareness and being a finance lead where you have driven value add and commercial insight /benefit. Experience within the retail, FMCG, multisite sectors is desirable.
You will have strong business partnering, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills and in particular the ability to communicate, direct, challenge and influence senior level individuals. Focussed on delivering specific objectives, you will be proactive, adaptable, dynamic and self-motivated with a desire to find and deliver improvements. In addition you will have the ability to work independently and together with other personnel both finance and non-finance.
You will have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving and analysis; delivery orientated - able to work in pressurised environments, meet multiple deadlines and manage own priorities.
You will also be able to demonstrate business acumen and ability to gain knowledge across the breadth of a variety of functions. Good communication skills - able to translate financial information and create successful business relationships. You will also be able to take a 'big picture' view with demonstrable internal consultancy and influencing skills, while possessing a keen eye for the detail.
