Finance Manager

South Manchester

Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a proven operationally focussed Finance Manager to oversee the development of financial services. Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is an integral part of the leadership team, managing all aspects of the organisation, with the primary purpose of supporting the achievements of the organisation

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Provide high quality strategic financial planning to ensure that the organisation makes best possible use of its resources
  • Leading on all matters relating to finance
  • Leading in the design and implementation of systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all financial legislation
  • Provide effective and efficient financial management across the organisation
  • To support the administration and management of the accounting functions, ensuring that efficient operation is in place in accordance to compliance and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including financial returns, to meet the requirements of the Directors
  • Produce monthly financial statements, including income, expenditure and Balance Sheet for the CEO and the Board of Directors
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for approval by the CEO and Directors
  • Advise the CEO on financial policy
  • Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll
  • Assist in the development to the long term financial plan for future development of the organisation
  • Oversee, prepare and submit all statutory returns, yearend report and accounts and be the main point of contact with the external auditor
  • Ensure that accurate cash flow management is in place and sufficient funds are available to meet on-going operational and capital requirements

Required skills and experience of the Finance Business Partner:

  • CCAB qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Staff management
  • Experience of working at a similar level to this post
