Finance Manager required to join a well-established organisation based in Wirral. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Finance Manager to join their dynamic and growing finance function in a fantastic organisation within the North West on a fixed term, full-time basis.

As the Finance Manager you will lead a small team providing the best quality finance support to schools and education services alongside other duties below:

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager

  • Advise on budget's, financial forecasts and resources for Educational Services
  • Responsible for allocation and monitoring of all funding
  • Support colleagues in budget management
  • Be involved in all operational activities
  • Monthly reconciliations of accounts
  • Preparation of payment schedules

Required skills and experience of the Finance Manager

  • Experience as Finance Manager within Public Sector
  • Ideally CCAB qualified
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting, budget, planning and forecasting
  • Excellent negotiation and advisory skills
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible
  • Manage workload and prioritise tasks
