Finance Manager (Business Case Management)

Finance Manager, with a specific focus on Business Case Management, required to join a rapidly growing Public Sector organisation in Cambridge. My client is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual who has previous experience in an Finance background, to join their dynamic and stable finance function in a Health Care environment on a full-time, permanent or contract position.

As the Finance Manager you will be mentored, trained and work alongside the Management Team, maintaining the Business Case Management section, including the organisation and distribution of work within the team. You will work within a stable team carrying out varied duties including business cases, capital and revenue monitoring, budget setting and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilties of the Finance Manager:

  • Support the budget setting process for the capital plan ob an annual basis
  • Present monthly reports at business case meetings
  • Highlighting variances against level expenditure
  • Maintin a real time business case register for capital and revenue
  • Undertake ad hoc project work as required.

Required skills and experience of the Finance Manager:

  • NVQ Level 5 or Vocational equivalent Degree or AAT
  • 5 years proven experience in a Finance environment
  • Detailed understanding of Accounting Procedures
  • Ability to plan workload to ensure financial timetables are met
  • Day to day supervision and training of staff
  • Ability to work under pressure.
